We went here for the first time on Valentines day. Me and my wife took my daughter out for brunch. It was very nice outing and the food was good. I had the steak and egg and my wife had the Big Breakfast. They have outdoor seating although minimal and the inside had a local diner feel. The waiter Greg was awesome and had a great deal of enthusiasm...lol.

Visiting the area, so we decided to have lunch at Hope Valley diner. It was fairly busy for lunch, but there were some tables that were open. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and toasted wheat with a side of potato salad. My husband had a Greek omelette with bacon and an English muffin. The chicken salad was on the sweet side. I think, adding the mayo to the bread was a little bit too much mayo, considering there was a lot in the chicken salad as well other than that it was good. The potato salad was Redskin potato with a little relish and very tasty. My husband was very satisfied with his Greek omelette. It had spinach, feta, and Greek olives inside wasn’t overwhelming very tasty and nice. The waitstaff was pleasant. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. There is a full bar that includes top shelf liquors and they have a huge specials board.

Exceptional Catering- Delicious Food & Impeccable Service. On October 8, we hosted an event at work with 180 people. We were absolutely thrilled with the catering experience. From to start to finish, the staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly flavorful-every dish was a hit with our guests! Special thanks to Kellie, Sarah and Luis. They accommodated our needs and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and warm service made the event more memorable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking top-notch catering with a personal touch!

We were in town for extended medical treatments at Duke. I was craving home cooked comfort and this place satisfied my comfort food and spirit. On our second visit ( 2 weeks between ti.es) we were greeted as if we were daily guest . They even remembered the place we had sat the first time! The food is as awesome as the people! Large portions of home cooked goodness.i high recommend the carrot souffle.

Been wanting to give this diner a try and finally did today. We ordered homemade potato chips for app. For dinner, we had steak Diane with loaded baked potato, green beans and corn bread. Fried pork chops with Mashed potatoes, Mac and Cheese and corn bread and Belgium waffle with homestyle potatoes. Everything was delicious and we will be back.

B+ | Nice community diner that has much history and good calibre food. Outside seating wasn't available , even due to the pandemic and we could tell chicken was going to be a mission for the staff with an hour left before closing. The steak and eggs was great as a breakfast and the hotcakes (pancakes) were more on the fluffy side. Objectively this is a cool staple for this community and gives a decent experience.

I like the vibe of this place and it wasn’t too crowded. I’ll certainly be coming back because it’s got inexpensive prices for a Sunday morning breakfast with the kids. The food quality was a bit lower than expected but for the price it’s great. The odd thing was that we got syrup and ketchup in packets and it just seemed odd to get condiment packets in a sit down Passaic American diner. Why not a bottle of ketchup and a classic syrup container?

Truly excellent home cooked meals! They had some of the best pancakes that I've had in YEARS. I ordered a custom omelet that came out perfectly, and my husband had the buttermilk pancakes with eggs and biscuits. Delish! The wait was a bit long, but they were super busy. The entire meal was only $24! That's crazy cheap with today's inflation! Overall a great place to go to have a home-cooked meal!
